Dear Parents,
Greetings! I am looking forward to meeting with you and your child this week for our S.E.P. Conference. School will be dismissed each day this week at 2:30 (even Wednesday).
Spelling: The spelling words for this week are homonyms. The students will need to know how to spell the words as well as the different meanings. The words are:
to, too, two, be, bee, for, four,
are, our, knot, not, one, and won.
Math: Regrouping with addition is a big concept for the students to learn. They are doing great with it. We will continue with this concept, work with time, and review the skills learned so far.
Language: We will work with compound words and vowel patterns.
Science Fair: The school science fair will be on Thursday March 22nd. Mark this date on your calendar. If you have any questions, please contact me.
PTA Book fair: The book fair is being held this week in the gym. Science Fair boards can be purchased in the gym during the Book Fair as well for $5.00.
Science: We finished our unit on the Moon on Friday. We sure learned a lot. Our next unit will be animals.
Your students are wonderful! Thank you for your help and support! I’m looking forward to meeting with you this week.
